Cover letter examples

Complete, realistic letters by profession, ready to copy and adapt in minutes.

Each example is a complete letter written for a typical job ad in that field. Read it, see why it works and open it in the editor with one click: you only need to replace the details in brackets and adapt it to your own experience.

How to use these examples

Do not send the letter as it is: recruiters spot copied text immediately. Use it as a structure and replace experience, numbers and motivation with your own.

Always name the company and the role, and link one or two of your experiences to what the job ad asks for.

Keep it to one page: 3-4 short paragraphs are almost always enough. If you apply by email or through a portal, use the short version you will find in each example.
