Free ATS CV checker
Upload your CV as a PDF: in seconds you'll see what an applicant tracking system (ATS) actually reads, what's missing and how to fix it. Paste the job ad too and we'll compare the keywords.
Your CV is analysed in your browser: it isn't uploaded to any server and we don't keep it.
What this tool checks
An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is the software companies use to receive and filter applications: it extracts the text from your CV and the recruiter searches by keyword. Our checker simulates that step and verifies:
- that the PDF text is readable and not an image;
- that your email, phone and LinkedIn can be found;
- that your sections use standard headings (experience, education, skills, languages);
- that there are dates, measurable results and an appropriate length;
- how many of the job ad's keywords appear in your CV.

Frequently asked questions
Is the ATS check really free?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up. You can check as many CVs as you like.
Is my CV uploaded or stored?
No. The PDF is read and analysed directly in your browser: it isn't sent to our servers and we don't keep it.
Is the score what the employer will see?
No: every company uses its own software and criteria. The score shows how readable and relevant your CV is according to the most common ATS checks, and helps you see what to improve.
Why is my CV unreadable?
Usually because the PDF is a scan or an image, or the text was converted to outlines. Export your CV from a word processor or a CV builder so the text stays selectable.
